I recollect the time when I began to nurture and develop the entrepreneur within me. And I truly hope as I pen this, that this inspires every reader in any way possible. I come from a very progressive Jain family, not the ones that pedantically stick to old Orthodoxes. I was always encouraged from a young age to pick up skills other than just academics. That is when I found my hobby, of Baking. It started small where I used to bake just to see my mother smile from ear to ear or my siblings fight over the last piece of dessert. But over time, my mother pushed me to start my own franchise, and that is when Creamy Creations was born. I started Creamy Creations when I was in 9 th Std, with my mother's well wishes and guidance. And it was soooo empowering. It wasn't the profit , it wasn't the money ( Mainly because it all went straight to my bank account) ☺ but it was the first time, I had created something on my own, and to be the head of this venture made me confident.

Coding is fun for Kids

Children learn best when they are Interested, engaged and having fun! So, the matter is how to make coding fun? Is it possible to make coding fun for kids? If so, how do we introduce coding in an exciting way that will make kids want to code? Just like any feeling, fun can have different meaning to different people. So, if one child loves to play Cricket, other child may prefer to play a Violin. While some child loves to write Poems, another may find fun in writing stories. The key to developing a love of problem solving, logic, number sense and digital literacy is to incorporate these skills needed to code into activities your kids already love! The educational needs of a child are important and finding that balance between: making something educational and making it fun at the same time is the real challenge. The most important thing to consider when trying teaching coding in a fun way is to incorporate coding into a child’s interest and using that interest to your advantage. C
